Mechanical engineering graduate - production and product
BSc Mechanical Engineering, graduated cum laude in June 2026. Two internships and a season with a solar-car team, all of them hands-on: fixtures, test rigs and parts that had to be made, not just drawn. I am looking for a first role in a company that manufactures something. Available from 1 September 2026 and happy to relocate.

Four months in a composite test department. Bonded and calibrated 24 strain-gauge channels, wrote the reduction script that turned overnight runs into readable curves, and redesigned a clamping end that was flexing enough to contaminate results. Two of my measurements went into the internal report.

Six months on the shop floor. Timed one assembly station across 140 cycles, three operators and two shifts, then designed and trialled the fixture that took it from 96 to 68 seconds. Still in use on the line.
